Here is an extract from the beginning of the book…
Meet Louis. What you can see is that Louis is a lion. What you can’t see is that Louis is not very good at being a lion. Lions are strong, brave, fierce and powerful. Louis is none of these things.
Louis, like lots of boy lions, lives with a pride of girl lions. They love Louis but they always tease him about his lack of lion abilities. They say that boy lions should be the Kings of the African Plains leading all the other animals, but that no-one would ever follow Louis.
This is an illustrated book perfect for a bedtime story for young children.
